Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — BREC Officials say they've got two national symbols living in Farr Park on River Road.
Even though you can't see them, bird watchers say the two bald eagles are nesting in this tree.
BREC's Conservation Director, Greg Grandy, says the two eagles may be particularly hard to spot because they're too young to be parents.
Grandy says the eagles will actually practice nesting while they're young, to prepare to eventually hatch eggs.
