Visitors to Baker City Park now have some new exercise equipment to help them stay in shape, right into their golden years.

The new fitness stations are known as "Life Trail" fitness equipment.BREC installed them on the walking trail close to the council on aging.

They're made to help older adults become stronger and more energetic through either circuit training, or different ways of walking a trail.
BREC Assisstant Supervisor Ted Jack says it's great to have "playground equipment" with seniors in mind.

"This equipment is specifically designed to really target senior citizens, I mean everybody can use it, but it's designed with seniors in mind so that they can get out, and benefit from being mobile and exercising."  Ted Jack, BREC Assistant Supervisor, said.
