BATON ROUGE (NBC33) — A Baton Rouge man was killed on June 5 when a box truck ran over him. 

Andre Patin, 45, was standing at the intersection of North Street and Beck when he was hit. He died at local hospital.

The 68 year-old driver of the box truck hasn't been ticketed yet. Authorities say they don't think alcohol or speed played a part in the accident.

The investigation remains open.
