Books-A-Million is spreading the word to all former Borders employees in Baton Rouge that they are welcome to apply as new team members with Books-A-Million. The local Borders store(s) closed in July.

“Books-A-Million is hiring and looking for great booksellers! We would like to invite former Borders employees to apply for opportunities with us,” said Misty Fontenot, Vice President of Human Resources at Books-A-Million. “We want former Borders employees to know that they have a place on our team.”

Currently, positions are available for Booksellers, Baristas and Managers in various locations, and Books-A-Million encourages any former Borders employee to apply. The stores are making positions available for immediate placement as well as the upcoming holiday season.

Books-A-Million has locations near recently closed Borders stores where former Borders employees can apply for positions. There are 231 stores operating in 23 states and the District of Columbia that will be hiring. For a listing of all stores, click here.
