Bayou Corne, La (NBC33) — One place not affected by the rain the last few days was the sinkhole in Assumption Parish.

Texas Brine says nothing changed at the sinkhole in the last 48 hours.

Relief workers stayed on the job throughout the storm, and seismic profiling and gas flaring continued as usual.

The company also said it's getting ready to install more vent wells.
