Troopers would like to remind motorists to always pay close attention to the roadway ahead. In bad weather, times of poor visibility, and darkness, drivers should slow down to a speed that is safe for conditions. Should your vehicle break down on the roadway, you should move it out of the travel lane and leave your lights on. It is very important to exit the vehicle and stand in a safe place off the roadway.
