Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Baton Rouge's Public Works Director says he's looking at replacing all of the city's parking meters with cashless readers.
William Daniel said the switch may happen because many people just don't carry around change anymore.
Daniel went on to say that a study looking into making the switch could cost at least $15,000.
Last year, parking meters brought in almost $300,000 to the city.
