Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — AT&T is asking teens across Baton Rouge to sign a pledge to never text and drive again.

Drivers were able to sit behind the wheel in a simulated texting and driving scenario.

Many say they left the experience with a changed view of texting and driving, and a commitment to never do it again.

The Louisiana Legislature passed a ban on texting back in 2008. Today's pledge drive push was part of a national No Texting Awareness campaign.
