BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) — Local, state, and federal agencies made their way to the Mall of Louisiana to help get people prepared for hurricane season as part of Red Stick Ready Day.

Firemen, police officers, and other emergency personnel were on hand to present emergency preparedness tips and give away essential emrgency items, such as flashlights and water.
