Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The Green Light Project on Jones Creek has been completed.
It started as two lanes, but has expanded to four. Improvements include new curbs and sidewalks.
It also replaced bridges the Department of Public Works says were in dire need of repairs.
"We've closed it two times to make temporary repairs so having that bridge replaced as part of this project was huge and monumental in my mind," said Jim Ferguson with the DPW.
This is the 19th of almost 40 Green Light Projects that have been completed parish-wide.
