So, are they disobeying the Corps again (Asc got in trouble for that before) or did they all of a sudden get permission??? Strange...I spoke with a Senior Project Manager @ the Corps on Friday and he said he had not heard of any change in their ruling on permanent pumps @ Frog Bayou and wasn't even sure if they were allowed to do temporary pumps???? Anyone?

my neighbor just drove down there and they have left one half of the road drive-able BUT they parked a excavator in the center of the lane so we can't drive thru. BTW, this work does not inconvenience one single resident of ASC PARISH only EBR and Iberville.
Also, someone who works for Ascension Drainage told me in Jan that the Army Corps of Engineers won't allow them to install permanent pumps there and that is why they had to block our road with temporary pipes last month.

My neighbors and I (all residents of EBR and Iberville Parishes) just finish calling everyone in Ascension Parish for two weeks in Jan when Ascension Drainage had our road blocked (again) with pipes that they were driving across in big trucks but blocked residents from crossing, letting them know we want to keep one side open for thru traffic for future projects so....
