The Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey ‘Zing Zang Zoom’ Gold Tour is in Baton Rouge this weekend. The show opens Thursday night. They will be at the River Center in downtown Baton Rouge through Sunday. If you get there early, you can try out circus life from center stage.

"You get to meet the performers; you get to try on some costumes from previous editions of Ringling Brothers’ Circus,” says Jason Gibson, ‘Zing Zang Zoom’ production manager. “You walk a wire, learn to juggle, get a free clown nose, get a free temp tattoo. We also bring out Duchess, our elephant. She does an elephant footprint and you can sign up to win that, so there are all kinds of things to do even before the show begins."

That interactive preview is free with your ticket. Those start at just $10 for kids. For more information, go to: http://www.ringling.com/

DON'T GO TO THE CIRCUS AND SUPPORT ANIMAL ABUSE!!! THESE PEOPLE ABUSE THEIR ANIMALS (ALL OF THEM). THEY DON'T PERFORM BECAUSE THEY WANT TO! LOOK IT UP! THEY HIT THEM WITH SHARP HOOKS AND ELECTRIC SHOCK AND ALL SORTS OF CRUEL THINGS TO TRAIN THEM. In the famous words of an actual elephant trainer.. "Sink that hook into ‘em ... when you hear that screaming then you know you got their attention. … " DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. When you go, you support animal abuse. Imagine being put through that as a person. If humans don't deserve it, they don't deserve it! Speak for them!
