Local man to be honored at military ceremony

Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — A Baton Rouge soldier is one of 57 in the nation to be honored at a re-enlistment ceremony in Washington D.C.
Staff Sargent Zachary Melancon is going to observe the Army Reserve's 103rd Anniversary.
Melancon grew up in Gonzales, and graduated from UL Lafayette. He also works for Halliburton.
He has been deployed overseas, and will be recognized in the nation’s capital on April 18.
