The pups were let out of the cage and free to kiss anyone they'd like. And peanut headed straight for this little girl, Miracle.
People from all over came out to check out the animals. And some walked away with a new friend.
“I love her face for one thing, said Pat Bibeau. Female dogs give me someone to talk to.”
Dogs and cats were being adopted left and right.
Humane educator for Livingston's animal rescue Cindy Roddy says the more they adopt the more abandoned animals they can bring in.
"Folks can't have them for various reasons keep them surrender them then we try our best to find them a forever home," said Roddy.
Adoption fees included all of the pets preventative care. Dogs were a hundred bucks...cats were sixty dollars. But Mark Reynolds says there's no price you can put on man's best friend.
“I don't have a dog haven't had one in awhile needed a companion found me a good one,” said Reynolds.
