Lil Boosie speaks publicly, says prison was 'wakeup call'

Lil Boosie says he's getting back in the game.

He addressed his fans and media in New Orleans just five days after his release from jail.

In a on one interview with NBC33, Lil Boosie said, “Mr. Baton Rouge; you know I love yall... you already know that. They'll tell yall ain’t nobody do it like Boosie.”

The Baton Rouge rapper said prison was a wakeup call.

He was in jail on drug charges but his lawyers said he was released early for good behavior.

Now Boosie says he's spending time working on a new album.
