Lawsuit forces BR School Board to downsize
BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — It looks like the Baton Rouge School Board really is shrinking.
An appeals court judge approved the board's plan to get rid of two members and re-draw district lines, on August 20, 2014.
The NAACP filed a lawsuit claiming a smaller board isn't fair.
Representatives say they will appeal the case to the Louisiana Supreme Court.
