Jindal fundraiser raises concern from Democratic Party

Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Governor Bobby Jindal had a fundraiser in Hammond hosted by Worley Catastrophe Response on March 29.
Democrats say Jindal's crossing the line, especially since the company is a sub-contractor for the Gulf Claims Fund.
"In essence, he's taking money, cash, for his campaign from a corporation he is supposed to be holding accountable," said Buddy Leach, a Louisiana Democratic Chairman.
The governor says he's just trying to get all of Louisiana’s support.
"Look, we've always said people who support us are supporting our agenda, not the other way around,” stated Bobby Jindal. “I'm happy to have the support of every Louisianan, and I hope to earn that support when we're on the ballot again this fall."
