NBC News — Experts say the Iceland's erupting volcano could be calming down. It's too early to say whether the eruption is over. But witnesses said they couldn't see any new ash coming from the volcano Wednesday morning.
Ash coming from Iceland's most active volcano caused the cancellation of around one-thousand flights across Northern Europe. Scientists say what's coming from the volcano now is mainly steam, but it's unclear whether the volcano will start erupting again. The volcano spewed ash up to 12-miles into the air after it started erupting on Saturday.
