BATON ROUGE, LA (WVLA) - Hundreds of needy people and families poured into St Vincent de Paul today for a Thanksgiving meal.

Along with them - hundreds of volunteers ready to serve. The meals came withl the traditional turkey, stuffing, and juice.

Volunteers we spoke with say helping the needy on Thanksgiving is their way of saying thank you.

St Vincent de Paul will serve Thanksgiving meals through Sunday.
