The great grape stomp is in the books for this year and the team from NBC33 and Fox 44 ties for 1st place!
NBC33 news anchor Tammi Arender, NBC33 reporter Jennifer Crockett, NBC33 producer Kris Cusanza and Fox 44 news anchor Emily Turner all smashed a tub of grapes and threw in a few acrobatic moves to tie for first place with another Baton Rouge television station.
The grape stomp is part of the Italian Festa, hosted each year by the Greater Baton Rouge American Italian Association.
The team chose the Jason Foundation as their charity. The Jason Foundation is a nationally recognized provider of educational curriculums and training programs for students, educators/youth workers and parents. The Jason Foundation will receive $500 from the Greater Baton Rouge American Italian Association.
Judges for the event were SJ and Mickey Montalbano, Hillar Moore, and Phil Cangelosi.
