Rain doesn't stop a parade, or in this case, a good deed.

Food trucks from all over converged at the E. Federal Credit Union in Zachary, Thursday night. The "Food Truck Food Drive" benefitted the Zachary Food Pantry.

One dollar from each meal went toward helping the food pantry buy goods and necessities. Business started a little slow but soon hungry tummies started trickling in with the rain.

“We're really dedicated to the Zachary community. We want to partner with places like the Zachary Food Pantry, so we really believe in this organization. The food is great! I've had a cupcake, some food from Fleur Delicious, a cup of coffee and something from Pullin' Pork," E. Federal Credit Union CEO, Tyler Grodi told NBC33.

Despite the rain, people showed their support and bought plenty of food. Residents got a chance to give back by bringing boxed or canned goods.
