A group of budding New Orleans ares entrepreneurs have teamed up to launch "Operation OK", a clothing and toiletry relief drive to collect everyday necessities for the victims and survivors of the recent Oklahoma tornadoes.

Operation OK hopes to maintain awareness about the continued needs of the people in Oklahoma. The drive will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the New Orleans Healing Center at 2372 St Claude Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117.

Residents of the Greater New Orleans Region are encouraged to donate new or gently worn clothing for men, women, and children, as well as toiletries and baby items including infant clothing, diapers, wipes, etc. The items donated to Operation OK will be shipped to the Goodwill warehouse in Oklahoma, where it will be sorted by disaster relief volunteers and made available to those in need.

Residents are urged to contact Operation OK to volunteer and assist with collecting, sorting and packaging the received items.
