Easter comes early at the Governor’s Mansion for local kids
BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Easter is right around the corner and today, a few little ones got a head start on celebrating!
“I found eggs and I played a lot,” Zaryah, a child participating in the fun, said with excitement. “And then I got my face painted.”
Today, children from the Head Start and LA-4-Kindergarten programs were invited to the Governor's Mansion for an Easter egg hunt. It's the 16th year for the hunt.
“We're glad to have the Easter Bunny with us on this beautiful day,” First Lady Supriya Jindal said. “We love to watch these children's faces light up with excitement as they run around and discover the eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny.”
Looks like they all had a good time!
