The Dollar General Literacy Foundation awarded $27,000 to Baton Rouge-area schools, nonprofits and literacy organizations to support adult, family and summer literacy programs. Award recipients include:

  • Family Service Center, West Feliciana Parish Schools Saint Francisville
  • Christ's Way Academy of Learning and Career Center Baton Rouge
  • Greater Baton Rouge Literacy Coalition Baton Rouge
  • Beech Grove BC of Baton Rouge, Inc. Baton Rouge
