Bayou Country Superfest is this weekend and the fans are ready. One pizza shop manager says good weather and good music mean "green" for her business by LSU's campus.

“It is exciting we get to see some new faces meet some new people,” said Reginelli’s Manager, Caitlin Davis.

Tiger Stadium isn’t a stranger to large crowds but the crowd expected this weekend is unlike any other.

“The difference is, if you go walk through the parking lot and read the license plates you see Wyoming, Massachusetts; it's unbelievable,” says Bayou Country Superfest Producer, Quint Davis.

Ever since the festival launched in 2010, Reginelli's Pizzeria has been on the receiving end of the financial boost Bayou Country Superfest and its visitors bring in.

"As long as we have good weather, we do have a spike in business," noted Lawless.

And the effects of this event go even further than city lines.

“The economic impact is clearly Baton Rouge and beyond the Greater Baton Rouges area," said Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne.

Local businesses are the ones that really benefit from the influx of people.

“It has a great spin off effect of a lot of businesses in the greater Baton Rouge area,” noted Lt. Gov. Dardenne.

In the eyes of Reginelli's Pizza, Memorial Day weekend will always be successful, thanks to Bayou Country Superfest.

“It’s neat to know people are just walking into our business and want to eat here and they come back all weekend long,” said Lawless.

The event is something businesses want to stick around and they hope it becomes an annual tradition for the Baton Rouge area.

“We have to keep this thing here we have to invite out of town friends so we can reap that benefit and support this with sponsorship," said Visit Baton Rouge CEO, Paul Arrigo.

They were also pleased to announce that Bayou Country Superfest is confirmed for 2014. Tickets are still on sale for both Saturday and Sunday.
