BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) – Whole Foods Market issued a recall of all their ginger bread house products. This extends throughout all of Louisiana towards any ginger bread houses made after Nov. 1, 2010.

Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain says in a press release issued today, Wednesday, Dec. 29, that the houses were supplied to Whole Foods Market by Rolf’s Patisserie of Lincolnwood, Illinois. Rolf’s has been connected to several outbreaks of Staphylococcus, which causes food poisoning.

So far, no illness from consumers has been reported. However, if you purchased this item, you should not eat it, but rather dispose of it in a sealed container so animals cannot get access.

Customers who have purchased any of the listed products from Whole Foods Market may return them to the store for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact Whole Foods Market at 512-542-0878 weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. central standard time.
