"Gas for Guns" program Saturday

BATON ROUGE, La (WVLA)-- A new anti-crime initiative aimed at getting unused firearms of our streets was first announced at the beginning of October, but now its finally time to do it!
The "Gas for Guns" event is scheduled for Saturday, October the 23rd. From 10 AM to 2 PM if you drop off an old gun, you can get up to $200 in gas at Circle K pumps. Officials say there are no strings attached, and all firearms will be accepted, no questions asked.
A total of about $40,000 in gas money is up for the taking.

Greater Beech Grove Baptist Church, 5352 Ford Street
Mt. Zion First Baptist Church, 356 East Blvd.
Greater Sixty Aid Baptist Church, 655 Gardere Lane
Healing Place, Baton Rouge Dream Center, 4829 Winbourne Avenue
