A former state worker is in jail on credit card theft charges.
Joy Lynn Aikens faces 9 felony counts. She was arrested yesterday.
State police began investigating when two taxpayers claimed that a revenue department worker asked for the credit information when they called to make payments.
That is a violation of department policy.
Authorities said Aikens answered both calls, and then used the card numbers on four purchases.
