BATON ROUGE, La (Metro Airport) - In anticipation of deteriorating weather, the airlines serving the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport (BTR) plan to operate reduced flight schedules Thursday evening through mid-morning Friday.

The airport has experienced a number of flight delays and cancellations, and passengers should contact their airline or visit their carrier’s website to check the status of flights prior to coming to the airport.

Airline call centers may be backed up due to high call volume related to flight interruptions; however, airlines will provide alerts and updates on the status of flights via their websites.

Passengers may also visit www.flybtr.com and click “Check Flight Status” on the home page to get up-to-date flight information for flights arriving or departing from the Baton Rouge Metro Airport.
