BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announce emergency road closures on the Westbound lanes of Florida Boulevard (US 190) in Baton Rouge from Wooddale Boulevard to Ardenwood.

DOTD tells NBC33 they're having to make emergency repairs to keep drivers safe.

These lanes will be closed all day Friday, March 1, 2013. Tonight, additional closures will be in effect and will remain in place throughout the weekend.
