Zachary school board officials have narrowed their search for a new superintendent down to three out of the five candidates that were interviewed at last night's school board meeting.
They'll be invited back later this month for another interview and a chance to meet the parents. That's set for October 16.
The candidates - Michelle Clayton, Scott Devillier, and Patrick Jenkins - will be interviewed starting at 1:00 p.m.
After that, parents will have a chance to meet the candidates from 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
A final decision will be made at the school board meeting on October 25.
The search is happening because Warren Drake, the previous superintendent, now works for the State Department of Education.
