Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — While students at two East Baton Rouge schools are out on winter vacation, their schools are getting a facelift.

Southeast Middle School and Villa del Rey Elementary are drawing close to completion on renovations that will increase the number of classrooms.

Southeast Middle will have eight more classrooms, while Villa del Rey will have six.

The construction should be complete by the time children return to campus next week.
