Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — There’s some positive news tonight for two East Baton Rouge middle school students.

Mason Guillot and Jeffery Liu are students at Glasgow Middle.

Even though most students don't think of ACT scores until high school, Guillot and Liu took the test and scored very well.

Mason Guillot is in seventh grade. He got a 35 out of 36 in math, and a total score of 28.

Jeffery Liu is in eighth grade. He scored a perfect 36 on the reading portion of the test.

Both students are in the Gifted and Talented program.
