Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — If you're looking at LSU for your education, then you'll be getting one of the best values in the country, according to two national publications.

Both the Princeton Review and Kiplinger's say LSU is one of the top public schools in the country for its combination of cost and quality.

On the academic side, the rankings measure things like admissions standards, student-teacher ratio, and graduation rate.

On the financial side, they consider, in and out-of-state tuition, the number of students on scholarship, and the average amount of debt students have when they leave the university.
