LSU art conservator brings new life to murals on Allen Hall

The LSU Colleges of Art & Design and Humanities & Social Sciences present “Drawing Aside the Veil of Time: Unveiling of the Lost Murals of Allen Hall” on Sunday, Oct. 28.

Beginning at 4:00 p.m., LSU alumna and art conservator Elise Grenier will make a presentation in Hill Memorial Library about the history of the murals and the restoration process, followed by an unveiling ceremony in Allen Hall and a reception in Allen 139. The murals are located in the English Department’s west end staircase in Allen Hall.
