This Sunday is the ten year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and today, students at Inspire Charter Academy in Baton Rouge took the time to say 'thank you', writing notes to American military forces overseas.

The sixth graders praised the troops for protecting our country in the decade since the attacks.

The school's principal tells us Inspire students still have a lot of questions about what happened.

"There is concern, and then there's just the question about why this had to happen and what things they could do differently,” said Christina Anderson, principal of Inspire Charter Academy. “It’s (a question of) what things we could do as a country that might help us get along better with others."
