Livingston Parish, La (NBC33) — Livingston Parish schools are one step closer to upping their security.
The school board approved a plan to have four more deputies on patrol at schools in the district.
Right now, there are three deputy-patrolled schools in Livingston Parish; those schools reside in Denham Springs, Walker, and Watson.
It could cost the district an additional $200,000 a year.
