Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) —
Governor Jindal and state lawmakers met at the Governor's Mansion today to talk education reform.
The governor has said education reform will be his top priority for next year. He said he's open to any ideas to make Louisiana's educational system better.
"The single most important thing we can do to improve our children's education is to make sure that we have an effective teacher in every classroom," said Jindal.
Over the past few weeks, the governor has held meetings to discuss education with teachers, teacher unions, and parents.
