WATSON, LA (NBC33) — Students at Live Oak High School are still waiting to move into their new campus.
The new campus, in Watson, was supposed to open in time for the new school year, but it's still being built.
The school district says Hurricane Isaac caused the latest round of delays. Voters approved the construction of the new school back in 2007.
Students were supposed to be using it already, but now, the district says it will be either the end of October or into November before it's ready.
