Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — A former professor says LSU fired her after she reported that the university illegally took $75,000 from students.
Margot Herster filed a lawsuit against the school for wrongful termination. She claims that she told the School of Art that it illegally charged course fees to help cover the cost of supplies.
The school's audit agreed with her, but she claims she was fired less than a month later because of it.
LSU declined our request to comment.
