Baton Rouge Community College has an international flavor this week.

The school is hosting is fifth annual International Education Festival.

Students created exhibits for different countries and cultures that are on display in the student center.

All week long, there are lectures and performances around campus.

Students say they're glad to have snapshots of cultures that are so different from our own.

"I do take a history class, and I know some of the stuff we have talked about, so it's not new, new material, but some of it is new material,” stated BRCC student Laterica Hall. “So I’m just trying to read and get it all in."

The festival continues with foreign food, concerts, and demonstrations through Friday.

If you want to go, it's all free and open to the public.
