The first happened on June 11, 2010 when an unknown male cashed a fraudulent check at the S&P Food Mart on Gardere Lane.
According to officials, the man brought a U.S. Treasury check into the business, which was processed without proper identification. Later, the business owner discovered the check was stolen
The second case involves a stolen credit car that was reported on Nov. 21, 2010. The card was taken from a vehicle on the 5800 block of Mapleton Drive in Baton Rouge.
