Romney launches broad attack on President Obama

NBC NATIONAL NEWS — On the day he's set to clinch the Republican nomination when the votes are tallied in Texas' primary,
Mitt Romney was in craig, Colorado promising to roll back Obama regulations that locals blame for hurting the local coal mine and powerplant.
"I want jobs! I want government that's an ally of business not an enemy of business," Romney told the crowd.
In a new ad the Romney campaign charges President Obama wasted tax payer dollars pushing low pollution businesses.
Still, that Romney message may be lost thanks to Donald Trump, who Romney appears with tonight.
Trump is back to questioning the Obama birthplace.
Romney gave Trump a pass, saying "You know, I don't agree with all the people who support me."
President Obama's campaign put a video up contrasting Romney to John McCain in 2008 in response.
McCain confronted birthers.

Trump has one explanation: John McCain lost.
