The countermove by President Obama has to make Romney feel good - it's proof his trip was more than just mishaps.

Mitt Romney finished his foreign tour in Warsaw, with a swipe at President Obama, praising Poland for sharing the Republican's faith in free enterprise.

Romney, however, did not mention that Poland has 12.4 percent unemployment rate and mandatory health insurance, like Obama healthcare.

Romney's trip wasn’t without its slipups - a gaffe in London, where he questioned how well Britain would run the Olympics. In Israel he said culture partly explains the economic gap between Arabs and Jews.

Reporter questions came as the candidate headed home to no reply. Romney staffers insist the rough spots were exaggerated.

Team Obama joked that Romney had not hurt the U.S., but Romney's hardline in Israel against Iran could hurt the president in November, peeling away some of Mr. Obama's strong support among Jewish-Americans voters.

Today, the president expanded U.S. sanctions against Iran, making it tougher to finance the illegal purchase of Iranian oil, and perhaps, tougher for Romney to get more Jewish votes.
