Dallas teen hospitalized after screwdriver stabbing

DALLAS (KDAF) -- DALLAS – We all know friends can stab you in the back. Well that literally happened to 15-year-old Manuel Sendejas.
Sendejas was walking home from summer school with four other teens; all of them classmates at W.T. Brown Middle School.
After an altercation broke out at West Haven Park, Sendejas told cops his friends stabbed him with a screwdriver. The teen took hits to the back, chest, chin and head. In addition, his throat was slit.
"He's in the hospital," Sendeja's uncle, Selso Castillo, said. "He's got 30 stitches under his neck and he's got 20 stab wounds."
While slipping in and out of consciousness, Sendejas was apparently able to name the guys who attacked him.
All four of the boys, who are between the ages of 13 and 15, have been arrested. However, because they are juveniles, their names cannot be released.
"You only see this in crazy people," Castillo said. "I mean, you don't see this in kids. They`re actually plotting to kill you, man. And it's your own friends?"
Talk about a screwed up situation.
