One Year Later: Alaskan advice to fisherman

In February, NBC33 brought you to Alaska to see how people there are coping with the Exxon-Valdez spill 20 years later, and what we here in Louisiana could learn from them.

Ed Day is a fourth generation fisherman from Valdez whose life was turned upside down after the Exxon spill in 1989.

Over 20 years later, things aren't the same way they were before the spill, but he's had to adapt to the new norm in Prince William Sound.

He says that's what has to happen on the Louisiana shore.
