NBC NEWS — In the Gulf of Mexico, BP and several other oil companies are looking into a new sheen on the water that was discovered earlier this week.

The nearly 200 mile sheen is in the deep waters of the Gulf.

Oil experts say it's too early to tell where it's coming from - but needs to be watched closely. BP is reporting the sheen isn't near any of their wells in the Gulf of Mexico.
