In question tonight, Louisiana's oyster supply. Seventy percent of the beds are open to harvesting, but local restaurants say supplies have never been so scarce.

The co-owner of 'On the Half Shell' in Prairieville says since the crisis on the coast started seventy-three days ago, today was the first time he's ever worried about a possible oyster shortage.

With a name like 'On the Half Shell' you've got to have oysters, but co-owner Darrell Leggio says keeping them on the menu hasn't been easy. This is almost hard to believe given that close to three quarters of the world's most productive oyster beds are open.
