Lafayette Parish man arrested for rape of 10-year-old girl

Scott Police have a man in custody for sexually assaulting a young girl. Police spokesperson Chad Leger says Michael Jason Burks, 35, of Scott, was arrested after evidence confirmed the rape of a 10-year-old girl.
