Youngville, La (NBC33) — Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested Keiwaythan L Turner, 28, in correlation to a series of sexual assaults which occurred over a 5 month period from January through May of 2011.

The three female victims who are acquaintances of the suspect range in age from 13 to 16. Turner forced himself upon each victim on separate occasions.

He has been charged with 5 counts of Forcible Rape and 1 count of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile.

The allegations came after the victims confided in a parent who reported the incidents, which took place in the Carencro and Youngsville areas of Lafayette Parish.

Turner was being held at the parish jail on unrelated charges when the investigators added the sexual assault charges.
